Dementia Care

With support and input from family, friends and health professionals, residents suffering from dementia will have a detailed care plan and report produced with the purpose of promoting person-centred care. Dementia is a very individual affliction and so symptoms can vary from person-to person, hence the need for a personalised and individual care program and therapies to help each individual life a fulfilling life.

We offer activities and fitness programmes designed to stimulate the senses and maintain an active lifestyle in order to help develop the cognitive ability and promote ultimate physical wellbeing. There is a wide range of indoor and outdoor activities we encourage which include specially designed activities for residents who have dementia. In addition, we offer a range of dementia friendly areas that have specially designed soft toys and other day-to-day recreational items that can help promote well-being. We try to offer a range of activities that residents at varying degrees of dementia are able to participate in.
